Samuel Blair
(1807-1836)
Samuel Blair was 29 years old and single when he fought at the Alamo’s final siege. In 1834 he registered for land then took part in the part of Bexar. He was under the command of Col. James Neill. It would have been his duty at the Alamo to oversee the maintenance of the cannons and small arms.
