Gordon Jennings

Where Galba Fuqua was the youngest defender at the Alamo, Gordon Jennings was the oldest defender at fifty-six years of age. Jennings was born in Pennsylvania. He married Catherine Cynthic. They had two sons and two daughters.
Jennings arrived in Texas from Missouri in 1835. He was a member of Caery’s company.
Jennings’ brother, Charles, was among the men massacred with Fannin at Goliad.
