James Nowland

As there is a James Nowlin listed in Capt. Cooke’s company of the New Orleans Greys, this is probably the James Nowland who fought at the Alamo. He took part in the siege and battle of Bexar and was wounded in the battle. Because of his injury, it is unlikely that he played a major role in the final siege.
