William Dearduff

Immigrating to Texas from Tennessee, Dearduff registered for one-quarter league of land in DeWitt’s Colony in 1831. A rifleman and a private, he entered the Alamo om March 1, 1836 with the rest fo the forces from Gonzales. Dearduff was also the brother-in-law of another Alamo hero, James George, who married Dearduff’s sister Elizabeth.
